Why launch now
Three factors make post-quantum readiness a near-term priority:
- Harvest Now, Decrypt Later (HNDL) — Encrypted data is already being collected today to be decrypted later, when cryptographically relevant quantum computers exist. Long-term confidentiality is at stake now.
- Migration takes time — Full post-quantum migration typically takes 3–5 years. Credible quantum threats are expected in a 5–10 year window. Starting late means starting too late.
- Regulation is moving — Frameworks such as DORA and NIS2, and evolving NIST requirements, make cryptographic risk management and anticipation unavoidable for many organizations.
