What is the difference between PQC and quantum cryptography?

Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) runs on classical computers (software and existing hardware), resists quantum attacks, and is standardised by NIST; it is the primary migration path for most organizations. Quantum cryptography (e.g. QKD — quantum key distribution) uses quantum physics to distribute secret keys over dedicated links and requires specific hardware; it is a niche option for a few use cases. Both address long-term security; PQC is the one that scales for the broad industry.
