What are NIST post-quantum standards?

NIST (US National Institute of Standards and Technology) has run a public process and selected post-quantum algorithms for key establishment (e.g. Kyber) and digital signatures (e.g. Dilithium). Standardization does not imply immediate replacement; coexistence and hybrid approaches are expected. Standards availability does not equal operational readiness — implementation maturity and vendor support vary.
